I've been teaching korean informally to my foreign friends. I was in US for a year and some of my friends really wanted to learn korean. So I taught them korean whatever it's small or big whenever we hung out. Also, when I was in a lab, my lab-mates were usually from South-East Asia. Since they have to talk in korean when communicating, I always helped them. They usually took a grammar class, but learning a grammar and communicating is totally different as you know.
